Ever curious about how good raw chocolate can be (some are great, some not so) I was excited to have the opportunity to review Rawr’s very special offering this month – the four chocolate eggs! First of all, the package looks fabulous. A small 4-sectioned egg box with a hand-tied ribbon and tag securing the package actually made it even more exciting to break into! Once inside the four different flavoured eggs (“Intensity”, “After Dinner”, “Purity” and “Zest”) were all nestling perfectly wrapped in their coloured foil jackets. It was actually with some trepidation that I tried each one, as personally I have never liked dark chocolate, orange chocolate or mint chocolate -- so I’d mentally started to write off being able to enjoy any of them -- oops! But enjoy them I actually did -- and very much so. Each egg was indeed solid as promised, and what was great about the mint and orange ones were that they were just right in the amount of flavor that they had. There’s so much more that I could say, but my final analysis is that not only are they beautiful to look at but they truly are a treat to the taste buds AND they enabled me to work late into the night to meet some important deadlines!
